When I was on a retreat in Alabama recently I needed to take a break from scrapbooking so I borrowed a very cool frame and thank you stamp from a friend and got to work. Two shades of turquoise cardstock, the stamps, some ink and a pair of deco scissors and they were done. When I got home I decided they needed a little more UMPH! So I added some tickets I had made at the 2011 TN Stampers retreat. I was hoarding those tickets because I loved them so much - but these were special thank you cards so I decided they were a wonderful addition.
I recently also sent out my COTM (Card of the Month), using a card front I had made last year and adding a super cute owl from the SU owl punch.

Welcome to the World Baby Boy
A few weeks ago a sweet couple at our church welcomed their first baby, a little boy. When we had her shower at church back in March I made a few things for her, (which I will share tomorrow,) and I made this adorable card to go with the gift.

Supplies:
Taylored Expressions Stamps: Branching Out & Braching Out Coordinates
Twinkle, Twinkle Little Boy Papers by My Minds' Eye
White CS for base of card
Memento Rich Cocoa Ink Pad
I stamped the tree base and leaves onto the White Cardstock, using some second generation stamping on the leaves. Then I stamped the tree top onto the green paper, cut it out and pop dotted it onto the card for some dimension. The card didn't take long, but it turned out really CUTE!
Thanks for stopping by today, stop by tomorrow to see some of my machine embroidery handy work! Now Go CREATE SOMETHING!

A Christmas Card
Today I wanted to share a card I made to send out this past Christmas. It is a very quick and easy card, but I still think it looked very elegant!

Supplies:
Stamps: Tim Holtz First Christmas (main image), Swirl from Holly Christmas by Close to My Heart (this is an OLD set from when I was a consultant)
Inks: Tim Holtz Fired Brick Distress Ink, Tim Holtz Frayed Burlap Distress Ink
Paper: Kraft Cardstock by The paper Studio, Harlequin Pattern Paper Unknown, Cream Cardstock unknown
Dies: Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels 8
I stamped my main image and then distressed around it, then layered it onto the Labels 8 Die I had cut out. Then layered that onto my card front that had been stamped with the swirl stamp.
